When your Display 2 is connected to power, it automatically turns on - this is by design.

This feature ensures that whenever you place the Display 2 into its Mount, it’s immediately ready for use, just like a traditional chart plotter.

This automatic activation means you can start navigating without having to worry about manually turning on the device - a seamless experience for on-water use.

There’s no need to worry about slower charging when the Display 2 is on.
If you prefer, you can turn the screen off by pressing the top right-hand button - in this state, the charge time is practically the same as if the unit were fully off.
