How can I view my past trips?
Updated over a week ago

Orca gives you two ways of viewing your past trips:

  1. Breadcrumbs shown in the chart – these are available to all users, with and without a Core. Breadcrumbs are recorded when Orca is running in the foreground

  2. Trips – these are available to owners of Orca Core. They are visible in your Trip list from the Main Menu

Trips can be played back and studied in detail from the trip menu. Trips contain all your NMEA 200 data, such as fuel consumption, battery levels and wind speed.

Press on a Trip to view its details.

To view your past trips, you need to sync them to the Orca Cloud:

  1. Connect to your Orca Core with WiFi or WiFi Link. Trips do not sync via Bluetooth.

  2. Wait for Orca to download trips from the Core

  3. Connect your device to the internet to synchronize trips to the Orca Cloud

  4. Wait up to 15 minutes for the trip to be available

To view the status of your trip synchronization, connect Orca to your app and open the Trips list. At the bottom of the list, you'll find the status of your trip.
