You can create multiple boat profiles in Orca. This is useful if you use more than one boat, or want multiple setups for a single boat – for instance, a racing and a cruising profile for a sailboat.
How do I create a new boat profile?
When you create an account at Orca, your first boat profile is automatically created. To create an additional boat profile:
Click the Main Menu
Click on the card with the name of your first boat
Click on Add Boat on the top
Enter details about your new boat
How do I switch between my boat profiles?
Click on the Main Menu
Click on the card with the name of your boat
Click on Manage Boats
Select the boat you want to use
Which settings are tied to the boat profile?
Every setting inside your boat profile is tied to your boat. Those are:
Boat type
Route Settings
Polat Performance settings
Boat MMSI, name, type, and dimensions
Settings inside Main Menu > Account Settings are not affected by your boat profile.
