The Orca Charging Mount has a light on the back of the charging panel, as illustrated with the blue light below. As the light is on the panel itself, it is on both the Surface and Top Mounts. 

The colour of the light will change depending on the state of your mount as follows:

Blinking Red	Error while charging. Remove the Display 2 from the mount, wait 5 seconds and try again. Check the power supply and contact customer support if the problem persists.
