How do I send Orca routes to my Raymarine Axiom?

Raymarine has partnered with Orca to allow sending Routes wirelessly from Orca to your Axiom chartplotter. This allows Axiom owners to plan routes with the Orca App and send those to the Axiom.

What do I need to send Routes to my Axiom?

Update your Axiom or Axiom II and Orca to the following version:

  • Orca App: Version 2025.18.2 or newer

  • Axiom I: Version v4.9.330 or newer

  • Axiom II: Version v4.9.330 or newer

How do I connect Orca to my Axiom MFD?

On the Orca App:

  1. Open Main Menu > My Boat > Boat Settings > Integrations > Raymarine > Connect Axiom

  2. Follow the instructions on the screen to connect to the Axiom's Wi-Fi/YachtSense Link.

On your Axiom. If your mobile device has a camera:

  1. To display the QR Code on your Axiom unit, please follow the instructions on the Orca App.

On your axiom. If your mobile device does not have a camera:

  1. Open Settings > This Display > Wi-Fi Sharing on your Axiom

  2. Enable Allow devices to connect via Wi-Fi.

  3. Press Configure to find the QR code and Wi-Fi credentials and enter these into your Orca app

Once the connection has been established, the linked Axiom will be listed in Boat Settings > Integrations > Raymarine.

Your Orca account will be connected to the Axiom. If you use Orca with multiple devices, you only need to do this process once.

You can only have one user account per Axiom. If you wish to connect with a different account, you need to unpair it first. See Disable App Sync at the bottom of this article for details.

How do I send Routes to my Axiom?

Once the connection has been established, you will see the Axiom in your list of connected devices in Main Menu > My Boat > Boat Settings > Integrations > Raymarine.

To send routes to your Axiom:

  1. Open Main Menu > Spots and Routes.

  2. Select the route you want to send.

  3. Press the three dots on the right side of your route and select Send to Axiom.

A notification will confirm that the route has been received on your Axiom.

Only a single route can be stored at a time in your Axiom unit. If you send a new route to the Axiom from Orca, it will override the past route.

How do I remove the connection between my Orca account and my Axiom?

On the Orca App:

  • Open Main Menu > Boat Settings > Integrations > Raymarine > Disable App Sync.

  • This will disconnect your Axiom devices from the boat.

Follow up on the Raymarine Axiom unit to fully remove the connection:

  • Open My Data > Mobile Sync > Disable Orca App Sync.

  • This will remove all Axiom devices from the previously paired user.

I have problems connecting. What do I do?

For "Failed Wi-Fi Connection" and "Axiom Not Found" errors:

  • Ensure you are within range of the Axiom device.

  • Verify that Allow devices to connect via Wi-Fi is enabled in Settings > This Display > Wi-Fi Sharing on your Axiom.

  • If the issue persists, reconnect your Axiom following the steps in Connecting an Axiom.

For "Axiom Already Connected to an Orca Account" and "Not Authorized to Connect" errors.

  • These errors indicate that the Axiom is linked to a different Orca account. To resolve this:

    • On your Axiom, navigate to My Data > Mobile Sync > Disable Orca App Sync.

    • After disabling, you can reconnect the Axiom to the desired Orca account.
