Updated this week

Orca gives you two subscription plans:

  • Orca Plus (€49 / year): Orca Plus gives access to offline charts and offline routing for powerboats, satellite hybrid charts, and sail routing.

  • Orca Smart Navigation (€99 / year): Gives you access to Automatic Rerouting, Advanced AIS, and Logbook.

Orca Pus and Orca Smart Navigation are optional. They can be activated individually or together for the complete Orca experience. A year of both plans is included in the purchase of an Orca Core or Orca Display. See the table below for features in Orca:

Will I still be able to use Orca for navigation if I don't subscribe?

Yes, you will. All standard navigation features, including instruments, radar, autopilot control, and basic chart features remain fully functional.

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage your subscription via the Orca account website, or via the app from Main Menu > Account Settings > Account Details.

Which chart regions are included in the subscription?

Premium gives you access to the complete Orca chart portfolio. See the coverage article for details.

What happens with my charts if I stop subscribing?

You will retain access to your charts. Without an active subscription, you will not receive chart updates to your offline charts, and you will not be able to add new areas to your offline charts.

What happens to other subscription functionality?

The Premium features listed above will also stop functioning.

I have Orca Premium. What happens to it?

Orca Premium subscribers retain access to all functionality covered by Orca Premium at the original subscription price.

How do I get full access to charts and routing in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany?

Charts for Sweden and Denmark are not available for free after an initial trial and navigation functionality is limited in Germany for free users due to data licensing restrictions. To get full access to functionality in these regions, you must get a subscription.
