Overview

If you're using an Android phone or tablet and experiencing issues when trying to purchase a subscription because the subscription is 'Not available in your region', there is a simple workaround.

Who Is This For?

This applies if:

  • You are using Android

  • You are trying to purchase a subscription

  • You are located in certain regions (usually outside of the eurozone)

If the in-app purchase fails, using the website will resolve the issue.

Workaround: Purchase via Website

Follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.).

  2. Log in using the same email address you use in the Orca app.

  3. Click on Add Subscription

  4. Purchase the subscription plan you need.

  5. Once completed, open the Orca app again.

  6. Make sure you are logged into the same account.

Your subscription will automatically activate and sync to your Android device.

Important Notes

  • Subscriptions are linked to your Orca account, not to a specific device.

  • After purchasing via the website, simply reopening the app should reflect the active subscription.

  • If it doesn’t appear immediately, try logging out and back in.
